​Decorative Gilded Cornice

I find this piece quite eye-catching.  This beautifully carved and gilded piece is embellished with floral and scrolls.  It may have been the crest of a large fancy chair or perhaps the top section to a mirror frame.  But now it serves just as a decorative wall hanging that could be used over a mirror or above a mantel.  It measures 36 1/2" wide by 14" tall and is carved out of 1" thick wood.  A lovely piece!
