18th C. Chip-Carved Looking Glass

This extraordinary early handheld looking glass is expertly chip-carved, depicting a bird and another animal above circular pinwheel designs. I believe that the mirror plate, although early, is a replacement. Some of the caulking around the edge of the mirror is loose. Measuring 11.25" tall by 6.25" wide.
