Large Chalkware Pig

This very large spotted chalkware pig dates to the late 19th C.  He is hollow, yet has a finished base.  His paint decoration is rather naive, yet most likely original.  He measures 14" (from nose to rump); 8 3/4" tall (to tips of ears); 5 1/4" wide.  An impressive piece of chalkware.

 Pennsylvania origin.  Minor surface imperfections consistent with age and use.
