​Late 19th C. Courting Mirror

This hand carved courting mirror is made out of white pine, with lovebirds atop a horseshoe with a chip-carved base.  In original red washed surface.  A terrific little mirror and a great piece of folk art!

There is some script on the back that I have not been able to make out.  

Measuring 11 1/4" tall by 6 1/2" wide.
